Stage 1 - Priego - Montefrío

Close to the monumental city of Granada. The picturesque village of Montefrio will give you a very warm welcome.

Stage 2 - Montefrío -Iznájar

Situated on top of a rock outcrop, the historic village of Iznajar guards the largest lake in Andalucía

Stage 3 - Iznájar -Zuheros

One of Spain’s most beautiful villages, Zuheros offers stunning scenery, mountain routes and much more.

Stage 4 - Zuheros - Priego

There are two options once here: Relax and enjoy the hotel and facilities, discover the village and its surroundings and wonderful views.

This option gives the opportunity to explore a bit more of the area. Take the Via Verde, a disused rail track to the salt lake, la Laguna del Salobral taking in the villages of El Tajaral and Zagrilla Baja.

A picturesque village in the province of Granada with interesting rock formations known as la Peña de los Gitanos (Gypsies’ Rocks). Descibed by National Graphic as one of the 10 villages in the world with the best views.


Perched on top of its rocky outcrop Iznajar proudly offers views of its “inland sea”, the reservoir below is the biggest in Andalucía and the second in all Spain. From the heights of the village we find the castle and the charming Patio de las Comedias with its many and colourful flower filled pots. To be here at sunset will be one of the unforgettable memories of the trip.


Zuheros has been declared one of the” most beautiful villages in Spain”. A classic white village nestling in the northern limestone slopes of the Subbetica Natural Park. Famed for its nationally important Cave of the Bats which was home to Neolithic man some 5000 years ago. The walk through the River Bailon Gorge is unforgettable.


Priego de Cordoba, described by some guide books as the “hidden jewel “of Andalucía, the birth place of Andalucian Baroque architecture. Famously known for the old quarter with its narrow cobbled streets enclosed by white houses and super abundance of potted flowers. Not to be missed is the King’s Fountain with 139 outlets.
